Went to dealer today and was told my "no sound available" error coming from my command unit is due to bad amplifier that is in the trunk by the cd changer and nav system. Does anyone know of a shop that can fix them or where I can purchase a used or remanufactured one from. $1500 for a remanufactured one from the dealer seems a little high. Any helpful suggestions I will appreciate them.

I found a amp from a salvage yard, came out of 04' S430 do the model numbers have to match. The used amp starts like original with A220 82- then the numbers are different from there. Also is it a simple plug and go replacement or is there programming required once the amp is replaced?

got numbers off of both amps one in my car is A220 827 30 42. The one from salvage car is A220 820 02 89. Any one know if the used one will work or is compatable?
