Hi there,

I've seen many Sponsors on the board that have done amazing body work.

I have a question to ask!

Who would be interested "IF" one of these sponsors would agree to make a lip for us! I know people like the lip for the w220 but it's just too bad we don't have ANY access to it in North America.

So this thread is mainly to get the attention for the sponsors so maybe they can get a little idea of how many of us actually want this lip to be made!

Here are some pictures for you guys to look at that I have found, just scroll down to look at the lip. Let me know what you guys think, hopefully the sponsors can work something out!

Don't know about you guys, but if Sponsors can make this lip I'm DEFINITELY IN!

Mark from MCD Motorsports will consider going ahead to make a Lip for us if we can get about 10 people in on this!

carbon fiber right? think that would be better.....thoughts?

I guess I will have to ask Mark, but in my opinion we should aim for something a little cheaper. For example, duraflex or other plastic material. To be honest we can always vinyl wrap this lip.

Also, just a heads up, this lip is for 2003 and up AMG bumper. So I do not believe it will fit your car 01 s600. You can buy a duraflex AMG bumper for 350-500 dollars! One of our sponsors had them for sale!

Not at this moment and also (I"M) not making it, one of our sponsors on the board is willing to make a lip for 2003+ AMG bumper only. Maybe if we can spark enough interest for the non amg one he may consider! But for now, only the AMG!

Got news... the Lip will most likely be made in CF!
Can be made with cheaper material!

Just another update! As of now the (Estimated Price) for Carbon Fiber would be around 600 dollars and cheaper material would be around 460! Prices can change so this is just to give you guys an idea!

Remember guys you need to have a 2003+ AMG Bumper to accomadate with this lip!

Whats the cost going to be exactly with the 10 count ?

Without 10 people right now the sponsor can NOT give us an exact quote but he said that he estimated the lip will cost around $600 made from Carbon Fiber.

If some of us are not very fond of CF they can go for a cheaper plastic material for around $400.

I hate to see this thread dying, and i notice im like a month and a half late, but please update me if this lip was made because im interested in the non-CF version, i would say put me on the list but im low on cash right now but if the lip has been made or will be made, definitely count me in on picking one up in the next month or two!
