ABC whine noise?

I blew a abc line in front of my house...basically the line broke and wasn't driven at all. The dealer replaced the line and then I noticed a whining noise around 2000-2200...it wasn't there before the line broke. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced the pulsation damper...it still makes the same noise. The fluids are correct and the abc pump was replaced about 50k miles ago. I have a 2004 s600 with 115k miles. The car has always been serviced by the dealer but it always seems to come out with more problems than when I took it in. The dealer said the systems was bled, did the rodeo, flushed ect. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help, John

abc

when your line blew, your pump ran low/no fluid in it. it only takes a half of second with no oil to ruin the pump. the noise you are hearing is the bearing bad in the pump. you need a new pump. the dealer knows this.

Well since this post has been revived. I too have a question:

Can the pump be rebuilt or bearing replaced? I have done the pulsation dampener BTW, didn't help.

bearing replacement

a couple of years ago, i ran into a company that rebuilds the pumps. i sent a pump to them for rebuild, after a month of waiting. the told me that they cant find a bearing to replace it with. so, they sent me back the pump. be careful about someone rebuilding it. they must be able to test it before sending it back to you. if not, you will be pulling it off again. my suggestion is to buy a new pump. it money dont allow it, buy a rebuilt pump. if not, buy a used pump from a reputable junk yard. i brought mine from a junk yard, used if for 2 years then sold the car. it was a big chance, but since i was doing the work myself, i was able to save on money. ebay also have those pumps. if its just wining, leave it alone, until it go completely out by leaking. my bearing was so bad, i had to keep putting fluid it it daily, like one qt. which is very expensive. any other questuons let me know.
