2007 S550,2004CLK,2002 S430,1984 300D
Radio help
I am buying a 02 S-430 w/57K.The AM radion gets poor reception an 1 station even has a crackling sound.Any advice?

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, there is advice. Learn to use the forum search tool. You'll get answers more quickly, and we won't have to repeat ourselves so much.

If the windows have metallic tint, it will interfere with reception, especially AM.

If not, it could be a small amplifier located just ahead of the back window, above the headliner. There is an amp for the antenna of each radio band.
