IPOD on 2005 S600
Skylaw... :-)
I was under the impression that an IPOD, in my case, a refurbished 120 Gb Classic, connected to the mOlbridge could be controlled from the Command Unit. Regrettably, after spending the money I wanted to save, I find that the IPOD works just like the Creative Vision M:60 and the Archos FM recorder, both needing to be controlled from the player itself. Grrrrrrr &**^ #$#@#
What am I doing wrong? If anything?, Or is it that I purchased the wrong unit for the mOldbridge installed in my S600 2005, any ideas?

Responding to myself for the benefit of those who read the related post and possibly had no answer. Well, this is the solution to my own question.....

Thanks for posting the solution, ANGMED. I have no experience using the mObridge, so would not have been able to answer.
My Gateway 500 for MOST provides an interface "menu" selection that allows switching between control on the iPod, and control on COMAND, but it works completely differently from the mObridge unit.

Skylaw..
Thanks for always taking the time to help us.
Well, obstinate as I am, from continuing to play with Command and the Ipod, I did something wrong, or too many times, now I get an error message, "System Unavailable". No idea how serious, or costly it can be to bring it back to default.
Surprised that a few people have had that issue, and no one posted what they did, and how it was resolved.
Complete details are in my previous post.

Around $500, sometimes discounted to around $450; yes, to me. D2B version lacks display of song title, artist, album info (COMAND limitation).
