trunk wont close fully !!

trunk wont close fully !!
hello there been a while since i was on vacation ( palm tree island in dubai 
amazing place )
so i came back and drove my car i open the trunk to put couple things and closed it ( you know when you close it just a lil and the vacuum will work to close the trunk fully) well that doesn't work anymore if i close it a lil bit it will still stay and wont close fully the vacuum wont work anymore.. so i was wondering is there a separate pump for the trunk or maybe a burned fuse what's going on?
also i got a message on the screen saying my license plate lights are burned i looked and saw the bulbs melted the plastic that covers them !!! i was shocked i hope that didn't burn any wires and maybe thats why my trunk wont close fully when i just close it a lil
i really don't know how to explain my trunk closing but i dont have the push button to close the trunk
i could take pictures or video of it if you guys didn't understand
