It would have been nicer to be able to see the bottom led's on alone, they seem nice and bright.
But, I do see a fit problem with the lenses, doenn't have the even reveals between the body and the lens.

yea , i tried driving in the night with just the LED's , but couldn't see a thing on the road ... trust me , those LED's are not bright at all ...
i agree it's a crappy picture , but i was so frustrated with these lights , the only thing on my mind was to get them removed pronto ... which is what i ended up doing the very next morning ...
the old saying ... pay peanuts and all you'll get are monkeys sigh ... these lights are cheap , and crap !!

DLR light are designed not for you to see when driving, but for the other drivers to see you. That's why you could not see anything. Look at any car with the original DLR you see the light very bright but they are not focused or bright enough for night driving.

Speaking of lights, does anyone know about these strobe lights for turn signals, front and rears, you know like police, emergency cars, Formula One safety car, etc.
Thanks

I think they look awesome.Wich there where more pics out there..Just add a aftermarket Xenon kit to it and your set for night driving. I think it is a awesome headlight for that kind of money. And I dont think they will melt.. Never heard of that and I have sold ALOT of after market lights in this pricerange.

I upgraded half a year ago my original HID projectors to these aftermarket ones (HID version). They look great. Much better than original. But I´m really not happy with the results. I expected a brighter leds. These leds are not running lights for daytime. They light as position/marker lamps. I share almost everything commented by "manano". I'll take some pictures in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night to compare results.

ok here are some pictures of mine:
with the lights on in the rain last night after installing them:
i just have stock H7s in now, but planning to upgrade to an HID kit in the near future.
lights off:
running lights on in daytime:
theyre not bright now, but i dont really need them to be in the daytime.. they work perfectly fine at night
and another, lights off:
i like them a lot, cant wait to get HIDs though. i like the black look a lot, looks less harsh without the stock lights i think
what do you think??

First time I knew about these headlights was from Spyder Auto webpage.
The link for the four models (black for halogen, chrome for halogen, black for HID, chrome for HID) is:

I upgraded the chrome for HID ones
See photos below for results in daytime

Lights on (LED + marker/position)

On those pics you can hardly se the LEDs?? Is it the angle or have they upgraded them with brighter LEDS? Do you have a pic where you see the hole car? And fitment actually looks bad.

Answering to 'Chris The Swede': If you see the photo labeled as 'running lights on in daytime' from 'benz ftW220' you'll realize about the real LED power in a sunny day. My photos are taken at 10:00 am. The light effect at night is quiet different (they look great then). Besides, it depends a lot on the camera lens. The photo 'with the lights on in the rain last night after installing them' seems to be taken from a nowadays Audi LED. Don't get confused. Last night I took some photos in dark and I got all kind of results with the same camera. I'll try to upload all them tonight. I have seen pros and cons about this projectors compared to original ones (as someone not really convinced).

Two more daytime photos (sunny day = poor LEDs) and one to see the quality of the light in a wall. Is that lens cut normal? I think it isn't. Please, let me know your opinion. Is it a problem of lens, lamp, projector?
These lamps are 8000k set on original Mercedes HID in a non-original projector headlights with a LED DRL.

I think the chrome looks great on your car! I like the black on mine though because my windows, side mirror lights, and part of my taillights are tinted and i have smoked bumper lights, so I felt the black fit in better. I'm also trying to lessen all the chrome on my car, feels like shine overload to me.
My headlights look the exact same way on the wall. Looks nice and bright!
