iPod connection?

Hi guys,

Our R500 has iPod jack in glove box to connect to stereo, but I don't see anything on our 2005 S600 that looks the same -any input would be appreciated...I thought it would.

Btw, the 05 navigation I enter the address but it only get me to the approximate # with odd or even - vs our 06 navigation - is that normal, or can a new DVD cure that?

Yes , you need to buy an ipod/iphone connection kit from the market and get it fitted professionally ... atleast thats what i did ... mine doesn't give me full access to my iphone , but it plays the music and i have volume controls on the steering wheel ... you need to connect it to the AUX connection which is located behind the command ...

hope this helps

try this

http://cgi.ebay.com/Philips-USA-7205...ht_9636wt_1139

i use it on my car. the cheaper ones are bad quality. dont raise the volume on your iPod any more then 95% of volume or else sound will get distorted.

also, when you put the cassete in, make sure you hold the wire with your hand to let the thing that rolls up and down close(aka roll up). when i mean hold it with your hand. i mean keep the wire touching the ceiling of the thing. i can show you some pics if you want it to be more clear
