I have a 430S- 2000, I want to install an Arnott front strut. Are their step-by-step instructions, hopefullly with pictures? Can you let me know how to access this? Do I need any specific tool?

Most of what you need to know is in this video.
Good luck!

There is also a step-by-step (the official MB documents) in post #12 at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...oxy-fix-2.html

If you're replacing your struts with Arnott's you do not have to perform either of the top seal related fixes (fix-kit or epoxy replacement), Arnotts you purchase will have the updated top seal.

It is basically a plug-n-play. Only item you may be missing are the bottom set screws, 2 per strut.

Mention this forum and you will get 10% off!

Thanks for the catch, xexpo; I had meant to refer him to a different post that gave the procedure for changing out the struts entirely.
