Do I need new lugs nuts from going to 16'' to 18'' AMG rims
Guys,
My car will be getting a new pair of shoes this weekend.
I am going from 16 inch rim/tire setup to the AMG 18'' W220 setup.
My question is....do I need a new lug nuts. Or can I use the lugs from the 16 inch tires?

I am going to the regular silver alloys and no chrome. Chrome on a benz where I live is rare and a little too much for me.
As for the wheel locks how much should I expect to pay for them at a dealer?

You won't need wheel locks because they won't stop a theif from getting your wheels. Anybody with a decent power wrench on their truck can break those screws right on off. Your best defense is your MB alarm that senses when the car is being jacked up.

Wheel locks only provide a false sense of security. The force of a power wrench is greater than the resistance of the locks, therefore, they will break once enough stress has been applied to them. Your key automatically activates the sensors that monitor the height of the car, so that when it is jacked up on one side, your alarm will sound.
On a side note, theft deterrant devices always provide an adverse effect. That is, they put a thief in a position to do more damage to your car than he normally would, just to get the wheels off. Some theives continiously raise and drop the car until the locks break off, causing more damage to the suspension.
