iPad install?
Hi guys,
We currently have portable duo DVDs that are strapped to the front headrests for the 2 kids in the rear seats. With ski season coming up, I'm wondering about the pros/cons of converting to iPad. Obviously the screen will be larger and nicer/brighter and it won't need cig adaptor, but there will only be ONE on one headrest. Anyone have thoughts on this?
Btw, I saw some youtube videos of Mercedes with front dash attachments - have any of you guys done this? I'm thinking instead of spending $800-900 for Dension install, perhaps the iPad might be the better way to go...plus it's portable.

As you said iPad is portable, just let the kids hold on to them to use, unless the kids are very young. iPad is an interactive device, so any installation far away from the user will make it hard to run your finger on it to use, best way is to use the stand and let them hold it and use it as you drive.
