2002 S500 Trans/filter change
Can anyone help or lead me to help with transmission filter and gasket change on a S500. Does the new gasket groove turn up to the trans or down on the pan? Also, how many quarts of syn fluid need be replaced? Pictures or video links also welcome and thanks in advance

the gasket sits down onto the lip of the pan. No way to get that wrong.
As to the amount of fluid, that depends on how much you get out.
You will need the dipstick to verify the correct fluid level

i just did mine on my clk500
the most is 9qt (but i only could get 4qt out)
when u buy parts buy oem
it was 33 shipped for oem and 26 for not
