What's this hood latch called exactly?
When I pop my hood with the lever under the steering wheel, the hood does not come out automatically like before. I have to go to the grill, and pull the plastic piece with my fingers from the inside. That plastic piece used to pop out further, now it's deeper inside.
I think it is the spring in this latch mechanism that is no longer good, on the top part of the hood. What's this called exactly? I want to order the part but I am not sure, here are some options and pictures embedded.

I got a replacement spring from my friend who works at a body shop for $12 (his cost from the dealer) after mine fell off. Not sure what it's called exactly. I just said "the sping under the hood" and he knew exactly what I was talking about. It clips right on once you get the old one off. Maybe a 3 minute job.
