Right side Rearview Mirror will not hold Memory Setting

Right side Rearview Mirror will not hold Memory Setting
All of a sudden my right side rear view mirror will not hold the memory setting. This just started over the weekend. I can adjust the mirror and then hit the memory button and memory number 1. All of the other memory settings work fine.

When starting the car, the right side mirror will either go straight up or straight down. It seems that which every way it went one time when starting the car, it goes the other way the next time. I then have to readjust the mirror so I can use it.

I have a 2006 S500.

Have you changed any of the save settings in the instrument cluster? Fold function checks ok?
