How long do stock tires usually last

How long do stock tires usually last
I have an 2000 S430 w/ the original factory tires. Anyone how long they usually last? I'm hitting 35k in mileage now.

As long as they take to wear out !!

Kidding apart, unless you want to trash them before they are worn then that's the answer. The tire is worn when less than 3/32s is left of the grooves (Lincoln penny test = Stick a penny into the groove with the head at the bottom, deepest in the groove. If you see the top of his head outside the groove you honestly need new tires- honest injun or honest abe!!)
How long you take to get there depends how you drive - ever wonder why they change tires a number of times during a rally? Well now you know. Tires with warranties in miles are based on the number of driven miles by "average" drivers whatever that means.

O'de to the days of having regular tires. 35K sounds like a dream. Wait until you get the AMG wheels, which you probably will and then you will feel my pain. My last set of Dunlops got 17K.
