After replacing the two front bumper impact strips with the European version (without amber side marker lights) of course I get a malfunction stating that the two bulbs are out. I DON'T want to have to plug these bulbs in and hide them somewhere unless its a last resort. It has become a bit annoying to have to clear the readout every time I start the car.
My question:
Is there a way to erase the error reading with star diagnostic to where it doesn't actually check to see whether those bulbs are there or not every time I start the car?
Thanks for your responses!

I'm in the same position. There is a thing you can wire in that will make the car think the light is on. I don't know the time of it but will keep my eye on this thread in case someone here does know.
My guess is that you can wire in a resistor at the light socket to trick it into thinking the light is on like you had said... but wish there was a way to erase the computer checking for it! Keep me posted if you find anything!
