transmission

Hello All looks like I need to replace my transmission soon. If I get on it from 0 mph I will get a slip and then it is fine. I have learned to manipulate it by steadily increasing speed and that does not happen. Also am getting vibration from Torque Converter I live on Long Island and was wondering if anyone new where the best buy on getting a rebuilt was. I have 111,000 miles on my 2000 S500 Thanks

what I did was get one from the forsale forum here at MBworld from a guy parting out his car, $500 plus $350 to have my mechanic install. There are a few on ebay too.

Rebuilt will run you $3000-8000 depending who does it.
