Remove lock cylinder from S500 OEM roof rack
I need to remove the lock cylinders from my OEM 2005 Mercedes W220 roof rack. I purchased a Universal Change Key # 853-1251 from Thule. It fits into the cylinder OK, but I can't seem to get the lock cylinders to slide out so I can re-key or replace them. They are not locked. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

Problem solved: I took the racks to a local locksmith. They re-keyed everything without removing the tumblers. Total cost.....$28. Pretty simple solution.
