Linguatronic works on phone only
My 2000 S500 Linguatronic doesn't know there is a radio and CD shuttle. It only responds to phone commands. Any other command returns "pardon". Saying "help radio" returns the help list for the phone. It has no problem recognising my voice and will correctly store numbers and names in the phone book.
How can it be made to respond to radio, tape and CD commands?

Frank is correct. The '00 controlled only the phone by design. You'll have to go to an '01, '02 or '03 module to get control of other functions. See http://www.benzworld.org/forums/audi...2000-s500.html for more. You need not install the stalk; the unit will work with your steering wheel button.
