Well we have a 2001 S430 which my dad primarily drives and he doesn't take the best care of it. Pretty much doesn't care until it's too late. Numerous things aren't in the best condition but the one that really bothers me is that when he sits into the car he just plops into the seat. All of his weight just BAM! And it has caused the plastic panels underneath the seat to crack and now they're coming off. It's mostly when you open the door you see that the corner with the lumbar support dial is completely hanging off and there are cracks all along the side and the compartment for the umbrella is messed up too). I'm wondering if you guys would know of any quick fixes or anything I could do to at least keep it together before replacing everything. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have 2001 S430 as well and facing the same issue. I think there is now way of fixing it except for a)using glue b)replacing a chair c) replacing car LOL

Haha before anything gets replaced I want to try and fix it, or at least make it look better. For the lack of a better word, I've been thinking of a way to "rig" it back together so it doesn't get any worst and doesn't look as shabby

I found this website with the seat parts. Called up and everything sounds good. Ordering in the next few weeks.
