Hot in the back - ice cold up front!

I've got an 99 S430 (long wheelbase in the UK - I think they are all Long in the US).

The rear heater controls when turned on pump out hot air even when set on the lowest (16 degrees). In turn the front then compesates and turns up front into a freezer.

Main agent swapped the duo-valve (Heater control valve - Sp?). Result - Full day at the dealers - 450 dollar bill - no change whatso-ever.

Any one else had this - any ideas.

Latest dealer claim is it must be wiring! They apologised and are arranging to have it back in.

Does you car have a true four zone climate control (second AC compressor under front armrest)? If not, then dealer has to figure this one out....

Hi! I have a S500 year 2000 with ac in rear. It is only coming hot air whatever temp you decide to have. In front the coldest air you can imagine. Please anyone know what can cause this?

Thanks
