2000 S430, 2000 S500 Both Brilliant Silver!

S430 windshield washer inoperable

Hey guys, my 2000 S430's windshield washer is inoperable. When I push on the knob on the left-hand side of the steering column, nothing happens, only the wipers work, but the motor to spray water on the windshield does nothing.

I pulled the fuse and disconnected the battery but it still does not work.

Does anyone have experience on how to fix this issue?

Did you get the washer working?

I have the same issue, the washer fuse was blown, I replaced it but no improvement.

A Mercedes obviously!

Replace the pump. About $30 for the part and takes about 20mins to do.

washer pump

first thing is to check a see if you have power going to the pump, if you do then the pump is bad. if not check the fuse but if the fuse is blown its for a reason which could just be a shorted pump or an electrical issue.

Where did you find the fuse? I'm having the same problem. No motor sound. 2001 s430

I think the solution is to press the button a little harder. Seriously. First click: Wipers, Second click: Window Washers spray. I wasn't the first to realize this way later.
