2002 S430 Xeon Lights help!

I just got 2002 S430 and a bit confused what kind if HID kit I should get to get the closest to the OEM HID.

My car has OEM HID's, so my question is what HID kit I should get to get the closest look to the OEM HID, and also, do I need to change the headlights to something different to support HID bulbs?

Thank you in advance

if you have OEM HIDs, dont get a kit. If there is there something wrong with them you might just need new bulbs.

I had one light that would flicker off and on, with an error on the dash. Just getting new bulbs fixed it. They are as cheap as $10 on ebay. Search for D2R bulbs.

I didnt have to replace my ballasts or deal with cheap HID kits.

Factory color is 4300k. Many people prefer 5000k or 6000k for a whiter light. Replace in pairs so they match.

NO OEM HID

Thanks!

I don't have HID at all, they are halogen lights, so I want to understand what exactly I need to purchase besides the HID kit and the bulbs? Do I have to purchase headlights or I can install the HID kit with bulbs on halogen Headlights? Won't that be too hot for it?

Thanks

if you dont have OEM HID already then you need to purchase the HID kit, and no you dont need new headlights unless you wanna change to the +03 look headlights also i believe the oem bulbs are 4300K so the closest will be 4300K or 5000K bulbs

In your first post above you said you DID have OEM HIDs.

If you just have regular Halogens, yes you need the full kit with bulbs and ballasts, and you probably need an error canceler too so you dont get error messages on the dash.

See the Group Buy forum here and buy from one of the respected HID merchants, usually costs about $60 for the whole KIT. You dont need to replace the actual headlights
