2000 MY COMAND question

Does anybody have a 2000 S class COMAND that shows the MB logo and name on the screen when it is turned on. Can it be updated to show that? My MB dealer doesn't know.
Thanks

Yes. It is a COMAND firmware update. The latest update does that.

awiner, would that be an upgrade disc for newer MY COMANDS or specifically for the 2000 MY?
My dealer can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks again.

awiner, i have a 2000 s430, and my record history (VHI or something) shows the latest comand update, and I do not see a MB logo on the start-up, perhaps u are talking about the mercedes comand 2.0 found on 2003+ W220?

That's one thing I failed to test, does the COMAND 2.0 on 2003 S-Classes play audio CD's?
