SON OF A -BLAM!!-

Hit a pothole last night. I hate living in Cleveland Ohio. Buying nice wheels is pointless in towns like mine because this happens...

I have NEVER been able to understand WHY people put 20"+ wheels on their cars with our ****ty roads

18's are the biggest I would ever buy, UNLESS you had some MONSTER brakes that require 19's.

Alas, some think it is a chick magnet, others well

PS: Sorry about yout loss my friend

you can always try to contact risk management (the city's or a the construction company's) to see if they will compensate for the damage to your wheel. take a picture of the pothole and send that along with a picture of your damaged wheel and hope for the best. it won't cost you anything but your time to try and you might luck out and get money to replace your wheel & tire. i mention this because, it had happened to me before and the construction company in charge covered 1 new wheel & tire for me and addressed teh pothole.

either way; good luck.

In our area we just contact the DOT and they have a form to fill out. I've had a couple ball joints replaced gratis per the state.
