2001 s430
Intalling aftermarket stereo

I have a 01 s430 and Im installing a double din pioneer z120bt, does any one know where to connect the speed pulse wire and also where is the best place to connect the reverse wire. I will appreciate any help.

I think you will loose allot of features if you take out the main navi screen

better to just use a ipad with a custom bezel covering the factory COMAND unit.

Plugs right into the tape deck and you can control volume from the steering wheel or touchscreen.

If you have a stereo with cassete deck, all you do is stick in a cassete tape adapter and plug it into the ipad headphone jack..... the volume is still controled by the steering wheel volume controls. Your MB stereo thinks its playing a tape
