MFD weirdness with the miles to next service
Apologies for the bizarre title but it's kind of hard to summarise!
The multi function display in the dashboard has been counting down for my next A Service for a while, now...but I think it's misbehaving, or it does something I didn't know.
So after my last B Service it was 10,000 miles until this A Service. Earlier in the week it was 1100 miles to next A Service, and I drove the car 750 miles a few days ago. During the drive it wanted a litre of oil so I did that, and on the way home today it said it was 1700 miles to next A service! This did tick down to 1000 or so by the end of the drive.
Did the topping up of the oil "delay" the A service? I wouldn't have thought so. It seems a bit of an odd thing to happen.
Any insight would be great.
