How do i bipass the fiberoptic CD changer

Thanks for any help you can provide:

My cd changer got fried when the side panels were flooded. When i was taking out the cd changer i broke the power plug. I cant find anyone that has this plug and the dealer tells me they dont carry that part. So now i just want to bipass the cd changer so i can atleast have radio. but with the fiberoptic if one thing is not working nothing works. So my questions is do they make plugs to cover the fiber optic plug to the cd player so i can atleast have sound?

I don't have the part number, but MB sells (for less than $10 I believe) a splice that will join the two ends of the fibre together. I did it on one of my cards that sandwich the CD player.
