Saw 2003 S430 with 400K miles !!!
Took my car to the Indy MB shop for some oil/filter services last weekend (trans, filter, engine, rear differential...), and guess what I saw: a 2003 S430 with more than 400K mile.
The owner use his car as shuttle for guests from Los Angeles airport (mostly from Hongkong/China/Korea), transport them to southern CA, Vegas and San Francisco. He bought the car new and have been using it for business ever since.
The mechanic told me that he's been helping to maintain the car since warranty expired, and it's been mostly maintenance/wear/tear. No major engine/trans repair or overhaul needed. The inside/outside are still in good looking condition (no crack seat/dash, still polish paint ...), and I was told part of it has to do with the synthetic leather used in the S430, which age better than the real leather in the 500/600 series.
The way the car look & ride, wonder how long it will last ... probably another 400K mile ?

this is good, ive used my car to chauffeur in a few weddings, mainly family and my girls friends as requested - some people are really cheap but i dont mind helping people save money as well as making a few benjamins on the side, really good market for business with these cars it seems like.

WOW that is cool. The w220 is over all a great car I don't hear about to many problems with them other than the air suspension. My friend has a 745 and its in the shop every week he spends a ton on that car.
