I own a 2000, S430, I have only owned the car for four months. In that time it has spent 3 weeks being repaired for the Air Matic system. I recently busted up some hard earned cash and bought a conversion kit from StrutMasters. This all started in April when I washed it up and took the old lady out for summa that $120.00 Benihana Sushi, that she is always trying to get me to buy. I promptly stuffed my head real good and ushered her to the car, then headed for summa that, you know what!!. As I pulled out of Fairlane Mall in Dearborn Michigan, My right rear Airmatic Strut introduced me to the rear gate of Greenfield Village at 1 AM. A tow from AAA, and a few choice cursewords later and the strut was repaired by the Dealer I purchased from. Fast forward to last week, I was minding my own business and walking out of work when, I saw it at a distance. Yep, my front end was down on the freak'in wheels. Courtesy of the right front Airmatic Strut. I did a little research and concluded it was not the Strut top seal, because they have already been done. So I give up man!!.. I love the car, I love the ride and the feel of owning a Mercedes. I know the purist's will shun me for being an ASE Certified Master Technician and doing such a thing, I love this car, but the suspensions gotta go! OH yeah! by the way, does anyone want to buy the other three Airmatic Struts plus one that pisses air, All four discounted to $300.00 Bucks.....

Return the conversion kit and get the arnott conversion kit, the strutmasteers kit is cheap garbage , you will regret saving a few bucks going with SM

Also put your airmatic struts on eBay as separate auctions you'll get almost $300 each
