2000 mercedes benz s430

Sun Visors

Both of my sun visors do not go all the way up. We have tried manipulating them but to no avail...Has anyone else had this problem, if so how do you resolve. I have a 2000 s430.

Yeah mine hang down about an inch after I push them back up to the headliner

afaik...the visors has to be replaced. I've been looking for a driver side replacement for a while now but don't feel like paying dealership prices for it.

best thing to do is just replace them like Stevedel said.. There is no easy way to take them apart and nothing inside to fix or replace to get them back to new.

Had the same issue when I bought the car. Either replace or take it down and shove a WD-40 straw down in the hole and BARLELY squirt some down and then work it back and forth. Sould loosen up and work. Don't squirt a lot or it will stain through the visor.
