Question Annoying trim issue: glovebox buttons cover coming off

Just noticed the cover for my glovebox buttons is coming apart slightly. Anyone know the best way to sort it? Looks bit like some leather that is peeling off.

Thanks!

yeah mine is similar but worse, it looks like it had a sunburn and skin (clearcoat?) peeling off.. i caught my girl trying to peel it off claiming its exactly like a sunburn and u need to pick at it. i have charcoal and it looks f**ked up.

Fraser has a s600 so it might be wrapped... Our s500 and s430 have the sticky button problem when the clearcoat fails.

Your gf is correct that scraping it off is the only fix, but probably not for frasers button since it's wrapped

Does anyone know how to replace this lock with button? is there a screw under the wood trim?
