We offer a free service to get you hooked up with a good installer. Just ask whenever you order.

I will be trying out an OE MB BT cradle adaptor solution ($280) for my 04 S600. I will let everyone know how it went and how it works with my new BT phone.

The part will arrive tomorrow and my dealer said they will try to help with the install, although it is just a plug and play. We just need to make sure that Comand is programmed for it and then it is a questions of whether it works with a newer BT phone.

If it is a no go then iTronic will be the next step for me.

We have dozens... depends on area and actual product installed. We have a free service that continually asks RECENT clients who they used, as the quality of installers changes radically over time. We found this out the hard way years ago. We used to keep a static list got burned several times. Somebody that was great last year.... stinks this year. This is our solution to that problem. Order a product, when you do, as for an installer, and our researcher will call/email clients close to you going no more than 120 days back, and get referrals for you!

The BT MB 'Puck' came in today, but my car is in the shop for the 3rd time this month. Thank god for extended warranty! They picked up over $5k in repairs over the last few weeks. Either way, I think I will swing by the shop and try it out sometime tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Garage Temporarily Empty
I had nothing but problems with the MB BT pucks.....Even different part numbers that MB said should be compatable with my S600.
Only solution was my Cartronics, VisseO MB-2 BT puck.
Not one issue since I hooked it up.

The puck worked flawlessly with my 2011 BB Torch! 30 second installation and all calls and contacts communicated via BT 100%. I only had a few minutes to play with it, but it seems to work as intended. Very happy and feel like a bit of high-tech life was just breathed into the vehicle.

Can you play music via bluetooth as well? Or just phone calls?

Just phone calls. Ipod is not important for me since I listen to Satelite radio only.

If you need an iPod, iTronic maybe a good solution since it can (when upgraded) do both right away and may even be more cost efficient than going with two different solutions.

Why is there no american flag on the cartronics home page. it looks as though most other countries are represented. is it with purpose?

The flags are for Google translate. We are in Atlanta Georgia, so our default language is English. Clicking on a flag, translates the page to another language.

Considering the factory setup is between 1800-2100, 800 is a bargain. Remember your car is completely fiber optic, and if you want it fully integrated like Mercedes intended, then it is a pretty good deal. Otherwise you can hack in a Parrot system and have speakers, and buttons installed in the car. However the labor is much more... so it kind of balances.

or an earpiece.....

Check this

Just got one installed thursday on a 94 E20:

Although no fiber optics, my local shop had previously installed a Kenwood face with bluetooth and kept my steering controls intact.

That simply does not apply to a fiber optic car....it is MUCH easier in a 94 all wired car.
