i'm contemplating on going a tad bit lower since my wife almost never drives my car anymore.

4 washers got me 2 finger gap, enough for wifey to not ***** up my front bumper.
lower ride height-hitting the bumpstops on the struts far more frequently, especially in the bad roads in the NYC area. That equals greater wear and a harsher ride.
Not to mention the ball joints, control arm bushings, etc etc.
Most likely the front airmatic struts will suffer a failure regardless of the lowering before the lowering would cause advanced wear, but they will receive more wear.
And reduced shock travel obviously results in a harsher ride. obviously on smooth pavement there will be no difference.

QUOTE=adrenaline12055;5099451]hey guys, im looking to lower my w220. I was wondering what the advantages of lowering with washers, links, or a lowering module? which set up will get me the lowest results? I was thinking of getting links from adjustableairride.com, and it said that i only need front links because the rears are already adjustable, is this true?
=adrenaline12055;5099525]I'm most likely going with links. how much did you spend for yours? And where?
FULLY SLAMED ON LINKS 3 YRS NO PROBLEM..
