Nice. I wonder if they work correctly and how they did it. We never saw the results of Ansson's attemptwith the bixenons.

we came to the conclusion that ansson succumbed to the bi-xenon gas explosion that occured when he attempted installation.

I never knew the 03 grille is bigger. Is it taller?

its taller; it fills in that annoying space between the grill and the bumper.

Performance Products is selling OEM 2003 clear bi-xenons in their newest catalogue. Cost is aprox $2200 for a pair.

Talking

But, how do you get them to work correctly? Last I heard, you needed a custom made adaptor, and still unsure if the high beams would work correctly.
Apricotscrub, why don't you try out a set and be our Guinea Pig?

crankin, i'd really love to, the pre-2003 is so ugly lookin compared to the 2003 ones, i consider the 2003 headlights the sexiest headlights available as well as the tailights. I'm just a student, and I have lost too much money recently (was scammed 2400+$ on a ebay laptop scam), and spent like 20,000$ on my car since i got it for repairs and mods, If I could afford the 2003's i'd probably do it.

no way MB will do it, they are under strict rules cuz everything they do comes 1yr/unl miles warranty. Even if you want to get your brake pads done, you can't goto benzbin.com and buy OEM Benz brakes and give it to the techs to install, they will tell you that MB has to purchase it direct, even if u got the OEM parts, they don't trust it unless they get it themselves.
