drivers side rear suspension sinking

After sitting overnight, the rear drivers side is bottomed out, but rises fine when I start the car. I am getting no error messages.
Is this likely a leaking strut, and if so, is replacing it a DIY?
Thanks

Reconnect battery while all 4 off the ground and turn on the ignition, pump will kickin as the presure has dropped. Remove from jack stands and drive out those error codes..you are good to go! I bought new one's divers side front and rear. When I get my tranny fixed I will do the passanger side.

Is there a way to tell if the strut is bad or if it something else like a line or distribution box?
Also where is the top mount for this strut, in the trunk or somewhere more difficult to access?

I had the front of the car sinking on me. MB dealer star diag showed bad distribution block. Had that replaced. Its under the front bumper on passanger side if I am not mistaken. Next to the pump. Really hard to diag that one. Watched them find the fault. Had to go from the pump to the dist block then the cylinder. Fault come back to the cylinder. Funny to watch as the pump does what the computer tells it to do pushing presure to the dist block and then to the pneumatic cylinders. Come back with a distribution error! New dist block. $$$

You can spray soapy water on the strut before it rises then turn the car on

and if you see soap bubbles you have air leak on the strut

Otherwise it might be distribution block or hose

Since there is no leveling system on the rear (height adjustment electronics on the front only) I would take get all 4 off the ground, relieve the pressure off the culprit cylinder remove the line and plug it with a presure gauge. Let the car down but keep a jackstand on the culprit wheel to hold the weight. Be carefull here! Check the presure in the morning.
