problem with s500

after i accellerate to go to high speeds of around 100mph, i begin to smell something which is similar to rotten eggs. maybe even as bad as a stink bomb. my friend says it could be the catalytic converter, I have no idea as to what it could be?? and if it is the cat, then can the problem be fixed since the car is under the factory warrantee?

a)Are you using the correct fuel?

b)Rotten egg smell is normally due to H2SO4 or sulphuric acid. Even if it was the catalytic converter the smell should not enter the passenger compartment.

c)Have your vents intake checked. Maybe someone dropped a stink bomb in it

d)Finally (its a looong shot) but can it be a rotten charcol filter?

Thats all I can think of at the moment.
