how many S classes sold this year?

hey everyone,

i've been doing some surfing over at club lexus. when going back and forth over which car is better they always use the issue of sales. they claim that the LS outsells the S class. this may very well be true in the United States but how about overall sales numbers. does anyone know of site that will list sales figures for both brands for this year?

Not sure sales figures are that meaningful in terms of which is better.

Something I found by quickly browsing:

http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/sh...d/t-66646.html

The S class is the top selling luxury car. The BMW 7 series took the lead for a brief time, but was quickly surpassed by the S class when they released the MY 2003 with the face lift.

Lexus is in a sales slump. Not as bad as Acura, but they need fresh blood in their lineup. I guess the RX330 is a *start*, but i think it looks like poo.

the rx330 has some nice features for a lexus. i'm not really a lexus fan, but i like their new taillights and how its clear when off but lights up red when turned on. i think this will be a money maker with import tuner cars as a new form of an 'altezza light'. also, did anyone see the new chrysler which has the navigation within the dash itself? i think i kinda like that idea. i wonder why it hasnt been used in any mercedes.
