Just purchased a W220 and had to replace a tire as it was running on its spare. Once I got a matching tire I went out for a drive, I found the cruise control would not set above 55 and sometimes won't set at all. I have oem mercedes 18" Amg wheels (not the 'stock oem 16's'). Staggered tires 255/35/18's in the rear and 245/40/18's in the front. I've searched and found the only fix is to go to a Mercedes-Benz dealer and have them enter the tires into the settings? Some people said it didn't bother them and on occasion it would reset after 500 miles. But I want to have my creature comfort back and have a fully functional car. If anyone has a sure fire fix or could direct me to a thread. Google has been unhelpful thus far. Thank you in advance and if you need any more information I'll be checking back every couple of hours.
