I want to do a engine flush, but most sites says that'll it will damage the engine and cause leaks. I have alot of miles, and the oil change is due soon. and the engine ticks a little bit when warming up. I used seafoam in the gas line once, and maybe put a 1/3 of the bottle in the oil. Do you think that is the cause of the tick? I have had this car since July and dont remember if i had the tick back then.

Another thing. I was on the BMW forum, and a recommended brand is Lubro Moly Pro Line..... but when I went to my parts store all they had was GUNK Engine flush, and after reading I think I'm going to return it.

Engine flush is for a 30 year old gunked up American engine , the inside of your w220 engine probably still looks close to new

Honestly man don't even bother. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you change your oil at the proper intervals and are generally good about that, there is no need for an engine flush. Sometimes it will even end up causing more damage and might cause leaks due to carbon buildups that might be actually sealing some parts. My 2 cents: don't do it especially on a 2000 if you do your engine maintenance properly.

+1...if it isn't in the maintenance schedule in the manual, don't do it, especially when you risk seizing your engine when flushing.
