Airmatic Valve/Hose problem
My 04 S430 has 60K miles. I got an airmaitc warning on dash. Checked the pump and found out that the big 40A fuse was blown. Applied voltage to the pump and it is working fine. When I replaced the fuse and the pump started back up, the car did not rise up in any corner. Pushing the rise button had no effect either. I inspected all the lines for corrosion and they look fine. This makes me think that the problem could be the valve block or the airmatic ECU, as it may not be sending the correct info to the valve? Parts.com sells just the sending unit that sits on the valve block. That could also potentially be the problem.
Question: is there a good way to diagnose the valve block and/or airmatic ECU short of paying a visit to my local stealer? The Airmatic has 3 fuses in total. Does anyone know which fuse protects which component? Maybe a diagram of the entire airmatic system? I was unable to find this on any forum so far.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
