Retrofit Headlight

I know this is an old subject but i'm new so please bare with me.... First of all, i have a 2000 s430 that does not have xenon option.. so my choice right now is to add xenon to my existing headlight for about 500 to 600 dollars or can i do the following:

Change my headlight cover to the new 2003 look (non-xenon version), then add an aftermarket xenon to the new headlight. If this can be done.. the whole job will only cost me about 1500 dollars. I don't really care about the bi-xenon for the high beam.. just the HID for the low beam is fine for me... Please advise on the possibility of this configuration.... Thanks

Why don't you email Steve (MBenzNL) at S_krabbenborg@hotmail.com He might be able to hook you up with a good price on the actual bi-xenons for the S-Class. $1500 is a lot of money and I wouldn't be surprised if he could get you the real deal for around there.

Since our '00 S430 already has Xenon headlights, can I adapt them to the newer S-class headlamp cluster? Or will I need to look for a new Xenon system?
