Upgrade MB Radio to Command

A couple of question somebody may be able to help me with:

I am looking to add to a 1999 S500L (German and in Germany) both telephone and navigation capabilities. I think one of the best options to to upgrade the radio from the MB radio to a Command system, old or current. Does anybody know how easy this is, or have other suggestions?

Does anybody know whether the 1999 S500L has the telephone prewired? I have the keypad next to the radio and the controls on the steering wheel, apparently the mic, but no phone kit. Do you know what I need to do to hook it up for a Nokia 6310i?

It's probably not going to be the easiest job seeing COMAND uses fiber optic wiring throughout the car. I'd even go ahead and say its pretty much impossible. But I'm usually wrong, haha

I too am interested to upgrade the system in my 1999 e55. Any suggestions?
