The road test that sealed the deal for me - Motor Week S600
Not sure if any youses caught this, figured I'd share. When Brucifer was taunting me with the concept of an S600, I stumbled across the Motor Week road test video and was SOLD.
UNFORTUNATELY, I now see that video has been pulled from YouBoob.
LAME! (if anyone here has a copy / link - please share! I'm kicking mesself for not saving it!)
It was soooo gooood! Watching that sukkah slalom deadarse flat and brake to a standstill sans nosedive was IMPRESSIVE.
For now, you can merely read the review here:
http://www.motorweek.org/reviews/roa...0_program_2252
enjoy!
ps... there's even a bit in there directed directly @ our veryown Oliver: "This massive Mercedes remains responsive, flat and quite nimble. With the suspension in Sport Mode, body roll is slight, and only when pushed quite hard. A sign that the Active Body Control system, which assists the four-wheel independent active suspension system, really works in cornering, braking and acceleration. Steering is light and quick, sometimes allowing the driver too much input. But overall no drama and only very minor understeer."
lol

Paul, if you want your own copy check out Maryland Public Television's website and you should be able to order your own DVD of Motorweek's episode.
