AC compressor internal damage, should replace what other parts?

I read some where that if your HVAC compressor has internal damage you would need to replace the following items:

Compressor
intake and pressure lines with seal rings
expansion valve
receiver/drier

I don't have a problem replacing every thing that should be replaced I'm just not sure if this is normal procedure?

Also at what point in this repair should the other parts be flushed out?

Does this system have a orifice filter? Alldata didn't show one.

Yes all of the mentioned parts should be replaced when you out a new compressor in the car.

Back from the dead. I'm thinking about replacing the AC compressor, but how do I determine if it has internal damage or not?

Also, should I just assume I need to replace all of these parts? I find that there isn't much info to replace the compressor out there.
