My trunk opens just fine with trunk button, drivers door trunk release and from the FOB remote. So I know my PSE pump is working somewhat. What doesn't seem to be working is the soft-close function when I close it. Also the close handle that comes out to aid in closing the trunk acts quite weird. It will pop out as soon as the trunk is release, but will only stay out for about 1-2 seconds, then it retracts back in even though the trunk is open. I'm wondering if there is a switch in the box to the right(see image) that reels in the cable cluster when you close the trunk. Anyone know how to remove and open this box.
