Oediscountparts.com has them for $513 a piece with free shipping.
You can also try purchasing the service kit, which is the actual bushing that can be pressed into the arm itself.
Far more inexpensive

I just got the repairs for my 2003 S55 for about 300 bucks for one side here in San Jose, CA.
I don't know why but my 07 S550 is getting charged 350 for the same repairs. Not an expert and probably needed something extra so I didn't argue.

I'm going through a similar drill with my G500 and I'm sure Jeff and his staff can help you out.
Btw all the diagrams on the web are not the same as EPC so you have to do the extra enquiries that saves time.

Ron, no problem.
Part numbers for the repair kits are:
RWD: 220 330 91 07 $67.50 each
4Matic: 220 990 00 99 $41.25 a piece
Its basically the bolts, washers, bushings. You'll need to press them out/in.
Probably also want to pick up ball joints.
For the rwd cars, it may not make sense to mess with the bushing work, as the arms are only $310

Good information. Pns are always good to know. Agree with ball joint comment. While you are under there do the whole magilla. For example, I'm doing the steering damper too at 115k miles on the G.
To OP parts.com is not a sponsor as far as I know and they have a hit or miss reputation over the years. Do a search on the forums. IMHO.

parts.com is a solid and reputable supplier in my experience.
The trouble is that their shipping is ridiculously pricey. Oediscountparts is usually a few bucks more expensive per part, but over $50,their shipping is free, hence you end up cheap in almost all cases. They operate in the same way (intermediary for a dealer)
I used to be a big parts.com supporter, but the shipping is just ridiculous.

I removed and install new Lower Control Arms in my S 430 , 2001, 3 Months ago. At this time I had 87 ,000 miles in my baby. Dialer wanted for each side $ 750 . After I talked with a friend of mine , which he has a workshop and a Lift in it and after I made some researches online I decided to change these parts by myself. I get these parts from MB and paid for both almost $ 600. It was very easy to change these parts , 45 minutes for each side. I am sorry that I didn't get some pictures because I am sure that would helped somebody.

thanks guys for all the help.... i see that the RWD suspension parts are much cheaper then the 4matics i called my local dealer and he can give me the LCA for 550 each out the door so i guess i might just do that becoz i dont know anyone in columbus OH who could just change the bushings for me coz the kit is only 100 for each side from the dealer... if anyone here knows a shop who might be able to just change the bushings for me that would be great..
also any special instructions on the the LCA's? if im correct i think the strut sits on it and i dont want any airmatic problems any advice on it would be helpful
thanks

someone who swears by parts.com told me once that their default shipping is based on a percentage of the parts cost. Apparently during check-out you can opt to pay shipping be selecting actual shipping charges to your zip code which would normally be cheaper than the percentage. Haven't tried it, but you might check next time since their unit prices are suppose to be cheaper.
I guess its good to have options though.

quick question guys ... im getting my tie rods done, i know im going to need and allignment after that and im putting new tires aswell my question is could i wait on the LCA ? becoz i dont hear any noises when tunring or going over the bumps its very smooth even when the steering is turned all the way ? or will that effect the alignment and wear tires faster or unevenly ?
i wanted to do all at once but didnt know that the control arms would be $1100 + labor so if it wont effect my tire wear and alignment then i would like to just do the tie rods, alignment and tires for now
thanks

Hard to say for sure since it depends how badly worn the lower control arm bushing actually are. Based on what you say about them above you will probably be OK to align with new tires for now. I would do it, but while your are at the alignment shop have them lever the LCA with a long jimmy type tool and see how much play is in them and get them to show you and tell you their opinion.

I replaced both sides lower control arms on my 4Matic. Unfortunately paid myself $1100. No repair kits available for ball joint only bushings are replaceable. Fortunately I'm a mechanic, I did myself. Very important is to make sure you install adjusting bolts in the same spot. Very tricky.

I would help if you were local, it is not a big deal, proper tools and that's all. If you find somebody to do it, make sure they know what to do, when you remove control arm, they have 2 positions for proper alignment, and guys at popular places not often can fix it except dealer.
