New shock lowered too soon

Hello,

I had a new shock replaced on the front right towards the end of April. It is now lowered and car looks tilted. For it to raise to the normal height, the height control button should be engaged. Unless, it would be in that position and not raise. But I'm not getting any error codes on the cluster such as "Stop, Car too low" . Would greatly appreciate if somebody could help me out here. Thank you

As far as I know there, nobody messed with the height sensor. The rear left shock too was replaced about a month ago but it has not been problematic yet. My biggest worry is that I havent even driven 500 miles since both the new shocks were replaced and the front right is already hitting the wheel arch.

If you have done less than 500 miles and assuming a shop did the repairs, then why not take it back and talk to them about it? If they have STAR das they should check it for free.
The system needs to be flushed with new hydraulic fluid and rodeo'd probably. With something like this, walk into the rear of the dealership and ask one of the mechanics which is the most likely cause of this? They see this stuff every week.

the rodeo is only for ABC cars. If he has airmatic (which is far more common), that all does not apply.

that's true. I was assuming it was ABC and not airmatic suspension. Is this type of sagging of of individual struts common on the airmatic. Don't you start to hear air escaping in this condition?

Thank you all for the reply jnash and oliverk. My car is has airmatic, no ABC eventhough it claims to have it on the instrument cluster. Funny thing is, I never get any "Stop, car too low" warnings" despite the fact that front shock is so low. I'm going to take my car to an independent Mercedes technician to get my shocks calibrated to correct pressure. I can not put up with air suspension anymore and I'm contemplating of getting rid of the vehicle to buy a W211 E220 CDI.
