Should I upgrade to Brembo Brakes for my S430?

Hello everyone,
Wanted to know if the Brembo 14" rotors and calipers will clear the stock 18" AMG wheels that came on my 2000 S430 sport? Has anyone done this upgrade? Any advise or comments? Your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you really dont need to upgrade unless ur gonna mess with the speed/acceleration. Mercedes brakes are among the best and its designed to be the right size for the car, let it be.

actually the stock setup is made by brembo and is crossdrilled. Factory setup is fine IMO.

yep, those are good enough. But i guess if its worth it to u to fill in the rims with the brake discs, then go ahead.

The reason why I am asking about this is because my front and rear rotors are starting to show wear and figure I will need to replace them within the next year or sooner. Got a good deal on a set of front Brembo 14" calipers and rotors that are used but with about 75% life. Will need to see if that is the condition but that is what the seller is telling me. I know the front rotors and brake pads are pretty expensive so if I have to replace them, would you go with the upgraded used Brembo fronts for $1000?
Man, this car goes through brake pads and rotors like every 20-25K miles depending upon driving condition and style. I bought this 2000 S430 with about 54K miles on it and I have all the service records for the car which was performed at Keyes European in Los Angeles and the original owner must have replaced the brake pads at least 4 times since she owned the car and the rotors at least 2 times. I have the receipts to prove that.
I figured if I upgrade to the Brembo 14" fronts that my car will stop faster without any possibility of brake fade and hopefully less dusting. Right now the car stops ok but if you drive it and push the brakes, it feels soft and not that great of an initial bite. Also have some brake squeal occassionally.
Tough decision but thought you guys would steer me in the right direction. The original owner paid around $815 to have the front rotors and pads replaced as well as the rear pads. I was thinking about changing the pads to EBC Greenstuff. Have any of you tried this yet?

Thing to do would be to put front set-up on rear wheels and then put RennTech 8 piston brake kit on front. You'll stop quicker than you would want too

Just picked up the 14" Brembo kit this afternoon. Can't wait to put them on and feel some serious stopping power. I guess you can never have too much stopping power
