Finally! 2003 Bi-Xenons on 2001 S500!!

Now you have accomplished the front and rear light sets. But still the car is not quite complete without the reflected LED turn signal lights on the side door rearview mirrors. Is anybody looking into converting these as well? It looks like it is easy to do. Any thought on this?

i think it would have a nice touch to paint the inside of the light the color of the car. say on a black car, the only thing not black would be the lenz for the bulbs and the head light lenz...
Althought it might look like ****.

Larger grill? It's only about 1 level deeper towards the bumpers. I don't think a passing motorist will say, "AHH, look! He has the shallower bumper with Bi-Zenons! It's a forgery!". I have gotten a kick out of this particular thread, lol! Some of the smallest hang-ups, like "I have the '03 S-class WITH real Bi-Zenons." Hehehe, who cares? All of our cars including the '03 will be old news in a few years anyway! SO, enjoy what you have! I for one like the Bi-Zenon update and MAY consider it in the future. But if I were shallow enough to be concerned about having an '03 over an '01 S-class...maybe I should buy a Nissan and call it a day I'd rather buy a very nice pre-owned S-class and SAVE some cash, versus paying more and eating depreciation on a new example. Hell, let the sucker who loaded the car to the max with options and paid a fortune eat that depreciation. Not me! Well, unless I am spending inherited money like some

The only thing I like about the new lights is the clear lens as opposed to the translucent pre-2003 ones.
I personally like the "look" of the older lights over the new projector ones. I'm not sure how to explain what I mean but maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about and word it better.
I like the way the older xenons look when they shine through. They weren't so blinding and had a nice "filling" look. Now they just look so bright I get blinded when a 2003+ S is behind me. I don't know if it is the positioning but the projectors in my 2003 530 don't seem as blinding but they light up the road for me very well. Also, at night, the older lights seemed better proportioned to the car since the actual light filled up more of the lens, now it just looks like a big boat with two small LED flashlights attached to it's corners. Not trying to bash the new lights (I do think they look 80x better on the car in the daytime) just my opinion.
